Located a few miles north of Oshkosh on Lake Winnebago, Garlic Island was once the home of the Menominee, an encampment where British soldiers barely survived a harsh winter, and even a resort and summer retreat for Oshkosh's rich and famous. Local author and historian Randy Domer will offer a glimpse of the incredible history of Garlic Island. A book signing will follow the program.

Sponsored by The Winnebago County Historical and Archaeological Society.
