Oshkosh Public Library welcomes your recommendations for items to be purchased for the library collection.

Titles that are suggested will be considered by the librarian in charge of selection. Please supply as much information as possible. While the library cannot guarantee to purchase all requested items, each request will be seriously considered. If your title is not purchased, you will be notified. If it is purchased, the item will be placed on hold for you and you will receive a notice when the hold is ready to be picked up.

If the item is not purchased, you have the option of requesting an Interlibrary Loan (link service page) and we will attempt to borrow the item from another library system for you.

Before submitting your request, please take a moment to search our online catalog. We may already own or have on order the item you want. You are able to place holds on On-Order items.

Requests are for physical items only. Digital formats of books, audiobooks, etc. are not available through purchase request. If you are looking for a digital book or audiobook that isn’t available through OPL, you can follow these steps in the Libby app: Finding and tagging titles not offered by your library (libbyapp.com)
