Can't find what you're looking for? Items not found in the library catalog can be requested to be borrowed through Interlibrary Loan.
Please take a moment to check our library catalog before submitting a request. We may already own or have on order the item you want! You are able to place holds on on-order items.
Search WorldCat (a catalog of the holdings of thousands of libraries worldwide including Wisconsin libraries) to find items not owned in our library system. You may also find the information you need for the form by searching an online bookstore such as Amazon.com or Bookshop.org.
You must be 18 years of age or older to submit a request. A parent or guardian may submit a request on behalf of a younger patron.
Accounts with fines of $10 or greater cannot place an ILL request.
The requesting patron account must be up to date.
ILL holds can only be picked up at OPL and must be returned to the OPL lobby book drop.
ILL requests cannot be placed on newer items. Items must have been released more than 12 months prior to the request.
The library reserves the right to determine and limit each borrower's library privileges.
Requesting an ILL item does not guarantee that the library will be able to obtain that item.
Fill out the following interlibrary loan form with as much information as possible. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (920) 236-5205, email us at reference@oshkoshlibrary.org, or stop by the desk on the library’s Second Floor. [link to webform]
